Judith Peak is another family-suitable collecting site, where everyone can go home with a handful of double-terminated quartz crystals. Unfortunately, they are not of gem quality, but none-the-less, are exciting to find. Access is north of Lewistown via MT Hwy 191, county roads, and a well-maintained but steep road to the top of the mountain. Allow an hour driving time from Lewistown to the collecting area.
