Cramer Creek Agate Field

Red Agate and various jaspers may be found in the Cramer Creek area. Access is on forest service roads from Interstate 90 east of Missoula. Allow 30 minutes driving time from I-90 to reach the collecting area. The road leading to the collecting area achieves a fairly high elevation above the Interstate, but no hiking is required to reach the collecting area. A hand pick or small pry bar may be needed to dig out your finds.
